Chair: Rev Lis Goddard
Lis Goddard is the vicar of St James the Less in Pimlico, she has been there since September 2010. She is married to Rev Andrew Goddard, and has two children, Jonathan and Nell.
Vice-Chair: Rev Rosie Ward
Rosie Ward spent 11 years in parish ministry in Bristol Diocese before becoming a Leadership Development Adviser for CPAS in 2005. This post includes helping to grow missional leaders in the Church, nurturing vocations to ordained ministry, and developing women as leaders. This last aspect is something she has long been passionate about, for many years serving on the planning group of Men Women and God. She has written 2 Grove booklets (on domestic violence , and an evangelical response to the challenges of feminism), a book on women in evangelism, and her most recent book is Growing Women Leaders: nurturing women’s leadership in the Church.
Secretary: Rev Gill Stanning
Gill is in her third year of curacy, which she is serving in the country parishes of Kingsley, Crowton and Norley. Gill’s first degree was in Biblical studies way back in 1986. She then went on to train as a primary school teacher at which she worked full time until the birth of her son in 2000. She then changed jobs and became a Speech and Drama teacher. In 2007 she began training for Ordination with the SNWTP.
Gill is passionate about encouraging women to reach their full potential and to feel released and empowered to exercise their spiritual gifts both within and outside the church.

Permanent Deacons Rep: Rev Clare Hendry
Clare joined the staff at Oak Hill Theological College in 1986 as lecturer in Pastoral Care and Counselling. On the grounds ‘if you can’t beat them join them’, she was ordained in 1995. For a while she juggled teaching at Oak Hill, being honorary curate at St James, Muswell Hill and Family life. From September 2011 Clare became honorary assistant minister at Grace Church, Muswell Hill. Clare is married to Steve, an engineer, and has two children, Kate and Alistair.

Conference Organiser: Rev Ruth Turner
Ruth Turner was ordained in 2009. After a curacy at St Thomas’ Church, Brampton Chesterfield she moved to become Team Vicar at St Andrew’s Community Church at Dronfield Woodhouse just south of Sheffield but in the diocese of Derby. Trained as a music teacher she worked as music director/worship leader for 17 years in various churches in England (and one in Australia!) She has led sung worship at the very first and last few conferences and added conference organiser to her contribution to Awesome.

Publicity Co-ordinator: Rev Tamsin Merchant
Tamsin became vicar of St Mary’s Hornsey Rise in North London in January 2012, having spent several years as a University Chaplain. She is married to Rob, who’s a vicar of seven rural churches, and they have a long haired miniature dachshund called Monty, who is a blond! She enjoys being creative, making things and also riding her motorbike!
