Fringe to Follower

At Launde Abbey Conference Centre

Our conference in 2013 will is called ‘Fringe to Follower’ and we are exploring the topic of engaging our churches in discipleship, drawing our those on our fringe to being followers. Whether you are engaging in a fresh expression or evangelism or other ways of creating a fringe in your ministry this conference is for you. This year we are again in the beautiful setting of Launde Abbey in Leicestershire, the perfect surroundings for our unique combination of conference and retreat.

Our main speaker is Jane Morris, vicar of St Gabriele’s Cricklewood, who is an experienced priest, and who has engaged in drawing others into discipleship over many years.

We will be also having a range of workshops, exhibitors and pampering times. We will be also having a range of workshops, exhibitors and pampering times.

Booking

The cost this year is £190 per person, or £180 per person if you are willing to share and you can pay this by cheque and send the booking form to Liz Angell (her details are on the booking form). We are able to offer a number of bursaries aimed in particular at Ordinands and those unable to afford the full cost. If this is you then please get in touch. You do now need to pay the full amount to ensure a place at the conference and you will also have to share a room.

Support for others

We are conscious that some of our members, those who are ordinands or those on low incomes may struggle to pay the cost of the conference. Do enquire with your Diocese about whether they might pay for this conference. We are also able to offer a few bursaries so do get in touch if you can’t come because of the cost.
